Wassail for the Yuletide!
In this neck of the woods the sun has set and the Mother Night begins, first of the twelve nights of the Yuletide that run up to the New Year.
However you celebrate the midwinter, I hope you will be making time for love and laughter, time for kith and kin, time to remember your roots, and time to wonder about the mysteries of the unknown that draw us onwards!
There is a tradition that tonight is a good night to remember our female ancestors, the disir, the clan mothers, and it's a tradition I hold to. Time to raise the mead horn!
