Mmmm...nice.
Dining out with an old friend, laughing and swapping Yule pressies...a grand evening.

And the manager liked us so much he kept the place open late for us to finish up, and gave us chocolate gateau to take home.

Win!

Wishing you all well, gentlefolk.

Ooh, if you don't mind me asking, which restaurant was that? That's some good service there.

Just the Greaves Park. We often go there, 'cos it's easy to get a table, and they're still serving food late in the evening, when Rat finishes work. The service is normally good, but it helps that the chap there recognises us as regulars, to the extent that he knows our drinks orders by heart.

I am not sure what is wrong with my brain that caused me to briefly read that as 'swapping Yule pussies.' ;)

My brain almost did that.

Yeah, you have a one-track mind
and I almost have a one-track-mind... Does that make it 1.5 tracks? Very non-Euclydian.

Well, we do both have cats, but I'm not sure that's what you meant... ;o)

Win! Sounds like a lovely evening. :)

Also, if I don't get the chance - wishing you all the best for Yule and the New Year Mr Jez, be safe, well and happy :)
